The Castro, Armisted Maupin, Folsom St Fair, Harvey Milk, The Aids Quilt, SoMa are all names with which the gay and lesbian visitor to San Francisco will associate. But dominant as it has been in the acceptance worldwide of our lifestyle, there is much more to San Francisco as a destination.

Key West is literally at the end of the road - the Overseas Highway goes no further ! The 150 mile US 1 highway south from Miami and out into the Gulf of Mexico is one of the five great drives in the United States, so take your time. Alternatively, we can fly you directly into Key West's local airport but with an en-route aircraft change. A car isn't necessary for your stay in Key West as parking can be difficult at busy times.

Whether for a quick weekend, a week or as part of a longer trip to the US, this vibrant city is a must see - at least once in a lifetime ! See the famous Stonewall Inn - scene of the riots that sparked the Gay Liberation Movement and George Segals moving marble memorial. Walk through Greenwich Village or Chelsea shopping, eating or clubbing, or chill out in the many neighbourhood bars that are now everywhere in the City.

It's South Beach which attracts the gay community - between 5th and 21st streets an estimated 10,000 gay men live - a figure swelled by the incoming visitors. This is very much a land for beautiful people both by day on 12th street beach and by night in the multitude of gay clubs.Don't forget to visit the nude gay beach at 167th and Haulover - a 20 minute ride north on the "S" bus.
