Apartments centrally
located in Ibiza Town, only 2 km away from the beach. Near the
complex there are many shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.
Nude sunbathing is allowed outside of all built up resort areas
(unless otherwise prohibited by signs).
When the sun shines, most head off for Playa des Cavallet, but Ibiza
has hundreds of miles of unspoilt coastline from which to choose and
is perfect for those who like to disappear off in search of a
secluded beach holiday.
Remember to slap the sun 'factor' on when you just arrive (there's
little more unappealing than a lobster-red queen falling drunk out
of Anfora at five in the morning). If you venture into the sea be
aware that jellyfish sometimes are washed-up close to shore,
particularly after rough weather. |

In central Ibiza town,
the hotel is very close to the Port. Near the complex you will find
all kinds of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.
Clubber's guide to Ibiza Town;
Although the doors are thrown open at midnight, most clubs only
start to fill around 02.00 in the morning: so, it's off to one of
the island's many pre-club bars to get into the spirit for the
coming night. But where to?
As the day cools down the long Ibizan night warms up. In town, most
of the action is located in the narrow streets of the old quarter.
It's here where the onset of evening witnesses a startling
transformation as Ibiza's extraordinary nocturnal fauna begins to
stir. 'See and be seen' is the rule of the night as Ibiza's
beautiful people emerge to rub shoulder pads with transvestites, the
likes of which you've never seen before, ticket touts atop stilts
and throngs of partygoers.
A little higher up, towards the Cathedral, the hippie-chic
boutiques, fetish shops and many gay bars which line the Calle de la
virgin - which literally means the street of the virgin! - make for
a fascinating midnight stroll. |

HOTEL
Twin rooms sleeping 1-2
Bed and breakfast
APARTMENTS
Studios sleeping 1-3
Standard two bedroom apartments sleeping 2-4
Superior two bedroom apartments sleeping 2-5
There are four different types of accommodation listed here, and
this choice goes some way to explaining the property’s popularity,
but we reckon one of the main attractions is the stunning pool area.
It’s big, it’s surrounded by extensive sun terraces (free sun
loungers, of course), and it boasts one of Figueretas’ most
desirable views over the bay towards the sands of Playa d’en Bossa.
There’s also a handy poolside bar serving snacks as well as booze.
The flip side of this great view is that the Cenit is located up a
hill, with the stroll down to the seafront bars coming in at about
five minutes.
This hill isn’t
exactly of Himalayan proportions but it’s still going to prove a bit
tough if you’re disabled or just plain bone idle. Remember: five
minutes downhill works out at rather more going back up again!
If you decide on the hotel option you’ll be accommodated in a twin
room with an ensuite bathroom and a balcony. Sadly, there aren’t any
double beds so please don’t request one from us as a sharp kick to
the tuchas often offends. This hotel option includes breakfast, as
well as daily maid service, twice weekly linen change and thrice
weekly towel change.
Apartment
accommodation is available in three different classifications of
accommodation. Studios feature twin beds in a combined
living/sleeping area, a sofa bed for a third person (although this
can end up being a bit of a squeeze), as well as a kitchenette,
bathroom and balcony. Breakfast is not included on any of these
apartment options.

Twin rooms sleeping
1-2
Half board
Looking for a great value three star half-board hotel option?
Thought so. Then take a moment of your time to find out about the
Hotel Nautico Ebeso, a better-than-average three star property
located on the Figueretas seafront, next door to the Sud and
approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the old town.
Now in its third year on Respect’s books, and already attracting a
particularly high level of repeat business (the best recommendation
of all, we reckon) the 123 room Ebeso’s general facilities are
extensive and include a large pool surrounded by sun terraces, a 24
hour reception, a lounge bar, pretty gardens and a restaurant.
it's here in the
restaurant where you’ll wolf down your continental breakfast and
your buffet style evening meal.
Maid service and towel change takes place every day, while your bed
linen is replaced twice a week.
There are two lifts which will whisk you to your air conditioned
room, which incorporates an ensuite bathroom, twin beds, satellite
TV and a phone. There are great views out to sea from your room’s
balcony, but these rooms do cost a little more. Those rooms without
a sea view don’t have balconies and it goes without saying that it’s
these sea view rooms which sell out first, leaving disorganised
latecomers to rough it in a room without a balcony. |

Twin rooms, double
rooms and superior rooms sleeping 1-2
Bed and breakfast
La Finca’s unique design means that every one of the eight rooms is
different, with their own individual furnishings, fixtures and
fittings but all feature private bathrooms, air conditioning and
daily maid service, with towels changed when you require and bed
linen changed at least once during a week or when you require.
Prices vary with the different types of room available – scroll down
to La Finca’s prices for more information. The focal point of La
Finca is its magnificent pool; surrounded by sun loungers, dazzling
flowers and erotic classical sculpture (yes, really), this is the
place to bone up big time for your Masters Degree in Advanced
Relaxation.
There’s a small
outdoor bar which stays open just as long as anyone wants a drink
(within reason) and a lavish buffet breakfast, included in the price
of your holiday, is served until 1pm
You may well enjoy the exercise centre and will undoubtedly love the
sauna – also free of charge – but what sets La Finca apart from so
many other places is Horst and George’s total commitment to the
highest levels of personal service. At La Finca you’re more than a
customer – you’re an honoured guest, and as such we reckon it’s the
ideal choice for anyone seeking a chilled out break within easy
enough reach of Ibiza Town. |

One bedroom
apartments sleeping 1-4
Self catering
These clean and comfortable apartments occupy a fantastic front line
position with dreamy views out over the Med, at least from the
slightly higher-priced sea view apartments. Made up of two parts –
the Lido and the Lido Llobet – most general facilities are found in
the Lido and these include a couple of bars, a restaurant and a
swimming pool. Respect’s apartments, however, occupy the top floor
of the neighbouring Lido Llobet block, so you actually get your own
entrance and a mini reception facility, which is open during the
day. Don’t worry about having to negotiate your way up to the top
floor though; there’s a lift to whisk you right up to the fourth
storey. So, while you can’t say that you’ll be staying in gay-only
accommodation, you can nonetheless claim to be holidaying on the all
gay fourth floor!
Every apartment has a
twin bedroom with built in wardrobes and a bedside cabinet for your
little latex friends. The bright, well-furnished living room has two
sofa beds for a third and fourth punter and is separated from the
kitchenette by an American bar. The kitchen equipment provided is
quite sufficient for basic self catering requirements and includes a
full gas cooker and a large fridge. All apartments have their own
private bathroom and a balcony, but bear in mind that there’s no
safe in your apartment. Instead, these are kept in the small
reception in the Lido Llobet, so you’ll have to be ever so slightly
organised with your valuables as this mini reception office is open
only during the day. And, although there’s no air conditioning, all
Respect’s apartments come with a free standing electric fan. Maid
service takes place twice a week, with towel and linen change once. |
